Copyright & Takedowns
LAST UPDATED 2026-10-12
Coindrop lists games made by other people. We link back to every creator, and we embed a game only when its own server allows it. If a listing uses your work in a way you don't want, we'll fix it.
The quick route: you made the game
If you're the developer and simply want your listing removed, changed, or switched to link-out only, email legal@coindrop.gamesfrom an address connected to the game (or tell us how we can confirm it's yours). No formal notice needed — we usually act within a few working days.
Filing a copyright (DMCA) notice
If you believe a listing, screenshot, preview clip, or embedded game on Coindrop infringes your copyright, send a written notice to legal@coindrop.gameswith the subject line “DMCA notice”, including:
- your name, postal address, phone number, and email;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- the Coindrop URL(s) of the material you want removed;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
When we receive a complete notice we remove or disable the material promptly and, where we can, let the person who submitted the listing know. Remember that the game itself is hosted on the developer's own site; we can remove our listing and embed, but to take the game offline you will also need to contact its host.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address including: your name, address, phone number, and email; the URL of the removed material; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the US, any judicial district where Coindrop may be found) and to accept service from the person who filed the original notice; and your signature. We may restore the material 10–14 business days after forwarding your counter-notice unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Games hosted on Coindrop
Some games are uploaded by their developers and served from our own hosting domain rather than linked from another site. Notices about a hosted game go through the same process above — include the game's Coindrop page address (coindrop.games/g/…). When we take a hosted game down, its files stop being served and the developer sees the takedown on their dashboard. Players can also use the “Report this game” link on any hosted game's page to flag malware, phishing or stolen content.
Repeat infringers
We remove submissions from, and may block, people who repeatedly submit material that infringes others' rights.
Misuse
Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can create legal liability. If you're unsure whether something infringes, consider getting advice first.
